Esther Akram

Founder & Montessori Guide

I'm a Montessori educator with over ten years in early childhood education. My journey began with a deep love for working with young children — and helping them grow into confident, independent, joyful learners.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Pre-Primary Montessori Diploma from the Indian Montessori Training Centre, Bengaluru. This background shaped my understanding of child development, learning behaviour, and the emotional needs of young children.

Over the years I've guided children through meaningful learning using the Montessori approach, and ran my own Montessori school in Bengaluru — a caring, engaging environment focused on the whole child.

I believe the early years are the foundation for a child's future, and every child deserves a safe, loving space to learn and explore. Through Joy of Learning, I hope to give children a warm place where they feel happy, valued, and inspired every day.

Our Mission

“To nurture every child's curiosity in an environment where they feel safe, seen, and free to grow.”

We measure success by the quiet confidence of a child who knows they can do it themselves.

What We Believe

Our guiding values

Respect for the Child

We honour every child as a whole person — their ideas, feelings, and pace.

Freedom Within Structure

Purposeful freedom inside a calm, carefully prepared environment.

Hands-On Discovery

Children reach understanding through their own hands, not our words.

The Prepared Environment

Every shelf and material is placed to invite focus and independence.

The Guide, Not the Teacher

Our guides observe first, then gently remove obstacles to learning.

Safe & Nurturing

High standards of safety and hygiene, so every child feels secure.

The Classroom

A space that speaks
to the child

Designed at child height — every material is beautiful, purposeful, and within reach. Natural wood, soft light, and clean order invite concentration.

Our Team

The Guides

In Montessori, educators are called guides — they observe, support, and step aside when the child is ready.
